Journey, the follow up game to flOw and Flower is the latest indie title from the development house Thatgamecompany that will be released only on the Playstation Network. The player will inhabit a robed figure that must cross the desert and journey to the mountain range found on the other side.

Journey looks to examine the way online gamers interact between one another when completing a task. If one player decides to play Journey online, they may come across another player who is playing online. Although they may be able to work together, they will not be able to communicate with text or voice. Furthermore, players will not be able to identify one another through names or faces but a unique symbol found on their robes. The only way players can get the other’s attention is by an inaudible sound.

No story has been announced nor has the meaning of the pieces of cloth and tapestries that can be found across the desert. Journey is set to be release in Spring 2012.
