Notrium by Instant Kingdom
After crash landing on the strange planet of Notrium as either a human, robot, psionic or alien insect, you quickly come to realize that without food, energy supplies or weapons, you do not stand a change against the horde of local aliens ready to tear you apart. Notrium is a top down survival, exploration game with scavenging and item creation.
Depending on which character you select at the beginning of the game, each one will provide unique abilities as well as vices throughout your adventure. The human has less health and must rely of weapons and other weapons for survival. The robot android has super strength but requires items to repair himself. The alien insect becomes stronger the more he hunts but can use very few items. The psionic has strong mental capacity but cannot carry anything.
Instant Kingdom develop one of the best free indie games on the market that is mysterious and surprising. The notion of not knowing what lies around the next corner is both disturbing and intriguing at the same time.
